Smart no expiry load / Smart Wallet / Reserve Load
Posted by: | CommentsSmart Telecom now has a response to Globe’s Immortal text although it cause a little inconvenience to it’s subscriber, much better than nothing.. Smart reserve load wallet is just the same with the retailer’s sim just made available to regular sim.
Not totally an answer to immortal txt but a way for your load not to expire. You can load your Smart Wallet through SmartBro retailers.
You can activate your smart wallet by texting WALLET to 7532

Fake / Defective Creative EP-630?
Posted by: | CommentsI was amazed with the sound quality of Creative EP-630 when my friend showed me and let my tried it. I looked for it in every store I can think of but I’m out luck and then last week, I came across a store Elec******** in Megamall, and they have stocks of EP 630.
I was excited that I didn’t gave much attention to the price, it is worth 1499 PHP. lolz… Too excited that I didn’t test it before or after buying it.
Everything is ok but several days after, I notice that the left and right cable doesn’t have the same length. I recall that a fake / defective creative ep-630 doesnt have the same cable length so I contacted Creative’s CS and they confirmed that it should have the same length. I didn’t have time to return to the store where I bought the in-ear and on the 7th day, I return to the said store and they said that, 1 week have passed and they can’t offer me the store warranty anymore(Deym), I said no one told me that it has only 1 week warranty and it is not indicated anywhere in the O.R. (Official Receipt) so I insist that the ep-630 is defective.

Google Chrome Extension

Google Chrome is a great alternative to Firefox for being simple, reliable and less system resources eater but one thing that stop me from using it was lack of extensions and/or plugins unlike firefox.
Google Chrome Extension Gallery with 300+ extensions was released to public late last year and it’s a good step. Might as well switch to Chrome for a change…

Google Nexus One Smartphone
Posted by: | CommentsGoogle Nexus One Smartphone was released couple of days ago, it is an HTC smartphone powered by Android that will compete with Apple’s iPhone. Nexus One has lots of features that everyone will like and it is supposedly thinner than a pencil. Since it is powered by Android 2.1, it can showcase even 3D graphics. cool!
You can buy it through Google Nexus One, retail price is $529 USD, it is open-line/unlocked, meaning you can insert any sim you own. With all those features with a great price, it is really a great deal. too bad, it’s not yet available in the philippines..lolz

PLDT MyDSL problem / Smart Buddy Unli Surf
Posted by: | CommentsI’m having trouble with my PLDT MyDSL right now, not sure if the problem is in PC or with PLDT itself. I’ve done everything I could think of already(ipconfig, modem reset, wirings) but still, my modem couldnt get an IP address from PLDT. Right now, i’m currently connected using Smart Buddy Unli Surf.
Since I’m having trouble with my DSL and i’m curious on how fast a 3G connection will perform here in my place, so I subscribed to their unli-surf for 1 day, using my nokia phone as an internet modem.
Speed is not that good compare to my DSL plan but bearable…
